Members receive the BACSA journal Chowkidar, twice a year, which contains a lively blend of news, queries about ancestors, off-beat topics, illustrations and reviews of books about South Asia. Informal BACSA visits are arranged once or twice a year to places in Britain with Indian/Asian connections. There is also an Annual General meeting - usually held in London - with a guest speaker, pay bar and a curry lunch. Membership of BACSA is open to everyone, there are several categories.

Payment

The Enrollment Fee and Subscription should be paid on joining and thereafter an annual subscription is due on 1 January in each year. Reminders will not be sent.

The first subscription for a member joining the Association after 31 August in any year will not expire until 31 December in the following year.
