Also we visited the Mutiny Memorial on The Ridge overlooking Delhi. This was the position of the British Camp in 1857. The monument was raised after the Mutiny and has been altered since independence to include those who died in the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971. Much of the information on the memorial is indecipherable from my photos sadly. |
